Jessica Hughes-Burnett serves as an Executive Board member and Event Chairperson for the foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Xavier University in Biology, a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University, and a Master of Science in Biology from Chatham University. Jessica is currently a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) candidate at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. She is committed to serving populations in need, particularly low-income families and youth populations. She has worked on breastfeeding policy issues in Rwanda as a research assistant, a fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in HIV/AIDS prevention, and a Health Scientist at CDC in blood disorders. She has consistently volunteered her time with tutoring and mentoring for over a decade, and demonstrated a passion for assisting youth. Jessica is proud to be involved with Livvy’s Love, Inc. as it allows her to give back to admirable young people and utilize her natural creativity to organize and execute events that support the majority of the foundation’s activities, scholarships and grants.
