Jessica Hughes-Burnett

Executive Board Member

Jessica Hughes-Burnett serves as an Executive Board member for the foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Xavier University in Biology, a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University, a Master of Science in Biology from Chatham University, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. She is committed to serving populations in need, particularly low-income families and youth populations. She has worked on breastfeeding policy issues in Rwanda as a research assistant, a fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in HIV/AIDS prevention, a Health Scientist at CDC in blood disorders, and a dentist within high-need communities.  She has consistently volunteered her time with tutoring and mentoring for over a decade, and demonstrated a passion for assisting youth. Jessica is proud to be involved with Livvy’s Love, Inc. as it allows her to give back to admirable young people via support of their own developmental goals.
