Nikki Shipman Hayes
serves as the Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer. Professionally, she has been a Public Health Servant for more than a decade. As a public health professional, Nikki is committed to identifying and resolving the challenges and factors that influence poor health outcomes, more specifically, cancer-related health outcomes in largely underrepresented and underserved communities. Nikki has helped manage several large disease prevention and control programs, developed and delivered health-related training modules, and authored or co-authored several health-related publications. Nikki earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Public Health degree from the George Washington School of Public Health and Health Services. She is a member of several professional organizations to include the American Public Health Association.
The passion that Nikki devotes to caring for others professionally also extends into her private life. She has faithfully served as a member and executive officer of several other non-profit organizations committed to enhancing the welfare of our youth. Nikki relishes the honor of serving as CEO of this Foundation because it affords her the opportunity to couple the excitement and passion with which she has served in these various other capacities with her strong commitment to honoring and perpetuating the memory and sweet, sweet spirit of her precious daughter, Olivia.
